荷蘭警方表示，跨國環保團體「反抗滅絕」（Extinction Rebellion）今天（27日）在海牙發動示威，共有1500多人被捕，其中包括「冰與火之歌：權力遊戲」知名演員卡莉絲范荷登。
法新社報導，下午，示威人士封鎖市中心的一段高速公路，以抗議荷蘭對化石燃料的補貼。
警方表示，他們使用高壓水槍驅散封鎖道路的示威人士，並逮捕「總共1579人…其中40人將被起訴」，罪名包括蓄意破壞公物等。

警方還說，其中一名抗議人士在逮捕行動期間咬了一名警察。
示威人士中有幾位荷蘭名人，其中包括因在熱門電視劇「冰與火之歌：權力遊戲」（Game of Thrones）中飾演梅麗珊卓（Melisandr）一角而出名的卡莉絲范荷登（Carice van Houten）。
